Sailing on a Tubber yacht means no fretting over details; the captain handles everything. Spend your time on board as actively or as relaxed as you wish. It's your well-earned vacation, and you're in charge.
Choosing Tubber for your sailing trip promises a delightful holiday with great company. The combination of location, water, people, and islands leaves a lasting impression. Whether you're seeking adventure, relaxation, or celebration, it's all within reach. This vacation allows you to feel free and at ease, which is priceless. Want more info? Your personal Tubber Shipmate is always ready to assist!
If you're seeking a sailing holiday, there are various options to consider. For instance, you could sail on the lead ship of a flotilla. You have the choice of chartering the entire yacht or just renting a cabin. In a flotilla, you journey alongside other families, including children and teenagers.
Another option is to join one of our yachts or luxury catamarans, which already have a captain on board. These are often vessels with singles and/or couples. With this choice, there's often a hostess and chef present, too, for added comfort and convenience.
Prefer more freedom and want to rent a sailboat or catamaran yourself? We can match you with a friendly male or female Tubber captain. This way, even as a family, you can enjoy a fantastic sailing holiday.
Bareboat chartering provides renters with great freedom and flexibility during their sailing holidays. You can set your course and take the time to explore the surroundings. Renting a bareboat charter is ideal for experienced sailors seeking an independent sailing experience at sea.
You can also join one of our Tubber flotillas with your own yacht.
No matter which option you choose, we ensure you'll have an unforgettable holiday. Please don't hesitate to contact us for more information; we're happy to help you make the right choice.
During the sailing holiday, the skipper is on hand 24 hours a day and thus requires their own cabin to sleep. At Tubber, we arrange the cabin layout in consultation, ensuring the skipper also has a comfortable place to rest aboard. This allows the skipper to be well-rested and full of energy to guide you through your sailing adventure. Have more questions about the skipper's role or the yacht's layout? Your own Tubber shipmate is always ready to answer all your enquiries.
During a sailing holiday with Tubber on board, breakfast and lunch are usually prepared by the participants themselves. However, for dinner, you have the choice: stay on board and cook in the galley, or enjoy the local cuisine in a shore-side restaurant? With Tubber, everything is possible, as it's your holiday and you decide how to spend it.
Our yachts are equipped with an electric fridge and a fully furnished galley (kitchen), so you can cook whenever you fancy. Alternatively, you might opt for one of the many taverns, offering good value for money and a cosy atmosphere. Everything's possible and nothing's compulsory!
Expenses for food and drink, harbour fees, fuel, and other costs are covered by the ship's kitty. This is a communal fund to which all guests contribute and is managed by the guests themselves. As is customary in the sailing world, the skipper is exempt from this.
At Tubber, we aim to ensure your sailing holiday goes without a hitch, so we're happy to answer the query: what are the check-in and check-out times?
On the first day of your sailing holiday, you'll be greeted by our skipper with a refreshing drink. During the onboard introduction, you'll learn about things like water and electricity usage and discuss the sailing itinerary. Officially, you can embark from 17:00 on the arrival day. In some instances, earlier boarding might be possible if the yacht is ready. It's best to check with the skipper upon arrival.
On the last day of your rental period, you should return to the marina by 18:00 on Friday afternoon (a day before the disembarkation day), after which the yacht is checked out. On Saturday, you should vacate the yacht by 09:00. This allows us sufficient time to clean and prepare the yacht for the next renters.
If you have any more questions about check-in and check-out times or other aspects of your sailing holiday with Tubber, don't hesitate to get in touch. Our professional staff are always on hand to assist and answer any queries you might have.
